On March 17, 2023, the students of Hildigard Integrated Learning School had an enriching experience as they visited the Amangpintor Art Museum. The museum, which is dedicated to the works of the renowned Folk Artist Elito Circa, is known for its unique style of Indigenouism Art.

The group of 36 students, along with their teachers, were given a warm welcome by Amangpintor, who provided them with a two-hour orientation about what they could expect to see during their visit. The orientation included art lectures and discussions about the different types of artwork on display in the museum.

The students were fascinated to learn about the life and works of Elito Circa, also known as Amangpintor, who was a Filipino artist known for his use of blood and hair and his unique style of finger painting. The students were particularly excited to witness the actual hand/finger painting of Amangpintor, while one of their teachers sang a song.

During the tour, the students actively participated in the discussions and asked insightful questions about the artworks they saw. They were especially interested in the paintings that depicted the different aspects of Filipino culture, philosophy of the artist about life and death, history of his hometown, traditions, and everyday life.

The museum staff were impressed by the students' enthusiasm and interest in art. They were happy to see the students engaging with the artworks and appreciating the beauty of Filipino art. The students, on the other hand, expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to visit the museum and learn about the rich cultural heritage, history of the Pantabangan and the artist life.

Overall, the visit to the Amangpintor Art Museum was a memorable and educational experience for the students of Hildigard Integrated Learning School. It provided them with a deeper understanding and appreciation of Filipino art, history and culture, which they can carry with them for the rest of their lives.
