It is now time for former World Vision sponsored child, Elito Circa or Amangpintor, to give back as he puts his artworks up for an auction that will benefit children in need.
The paintings of folk artist Amangpintor, who is known for using human hair and blood as painting medium, are just some of the artworks to be auctioned in "Art with a Heart" Wednesday night at Marriott Hotel.
World class artists, most of them from Kapatiran at Ugnayan ng Natatanging Sining at Talentong Pilipino (KUNST), have joined Amangpintor as they offer about 95 paintings for auction to gather funds for World Vision's health, education and livelihood programs in Batangas, Negros Occidental, and North Cotabato.
Some of the featured paintings include the “Lady and Guitar” of national artist Vicente Manansala's granddaughter Ronna Manansala and the blood painting of Manny Pacquiao, which is going for P350,000, of Amangpintor.
The World Vision has assured the event's ticket which costs P5,000 will help 4,000 children from the beneficiary provinces.
