August 21, 2026 — “Lagi may PAG-ASA, dahil sa Pangarap.” This message became the inspiration behind an art workshop conducted by Amangpintor (Elito V. Circa) at the Balay Silangan Reformation Center on August 21, 2026.

The activity aimed to provide the participants with a meaningful experience through art while encouraging them to discover their creativity, develop new skills, and believe in the possibility of a better future.

The workshop began with an art lecture, where Amangpintor shared basic knowledge about art, creativity, colors, and the importance of expressing ideas through visual art. He encouraged the participants to look beyond their present circumstances and recognize that everyone has the ability to learn, create, and dream.

After the lecture, the participants experienced Spirit Art through Indigenouism, an artistic approach that uses locally available and indigenous materials. For the activity, Amangpintor introduced coffee as an artistic medium, allowing the participants to discover how an ordinary material can be transformed into an expressive artwork.

The workshop also featured Amangpintor's distinctive hand painting technique. Instead of relying only on traditional brushes, the participants were introduced to painting using their hands and fingers. The unusual approach created excitement and curiosity as they experimented with different movements, textures, and techniques.

The participants showed enthusiasm throughout the activity and were visibly happy with what they learned. Many enjoyed discovering new ways of creating artwork and appreciated the opportunity to express themselves through painting.

Beyond learning artistic techniques, the workshop carried a deeper message: a person's present situation does not have to define their future. Through education, creativity, discipline, and determination, new possibilities can be discovered.
